LABOR MARKET BRIEF Volume 4, Number 3, March 2023

Indonesian migrant workers have contributed to the economy and society of their country of origin, mainly from remittances which can increase family welfare and state income. Nonetheless, the challenge of placing migrant workers comes from the supply side and the PMI demand side. The issue of PMI protection is no less important to pay attention to in policy development for PMI. The March 2023 edition of the Labor Market Brief discusses these challenges.
