Dr. Komara Djaja earned his Master Degree at University of Birmingham and received Master of Social Science with specialization in Development Finance in 1984. Eight years later, he completed his doctorate degree in Iowa State University, USA, with specialization in Economics of Natural Resources and International Trade.
Several important positions he had ever been assigned are Assistant Minister for Economic Affairs (1999) and Economic Affairs Adviser for Minister of Economy and Finance (1998). Until now, Dr. Komara Djaja still actively works as a researcher at LPEM FEBUI and a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia.
