The research group conducts research and consultation activities mainly on energy sector policies, subnational government policy planning, local empowerment and development policies, as well as the economic impact of development policy implementation.

Dr. Ir. Uka Wikarya M.Si.
Regional Economics, Econometrics

Uka Wikarya is a senior researcher at the Institute of Economics and Social Research and also a lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia (FEB UI). His research interests include regional economics, econometrics, input-output models, and statistics. He received his master’s degree from the Bogor Agriculture Institute (IPB) in 2003 and completed his doctoral degree at the University of Indonesia in 2010.
