Wahyu Wibowo completed his bachelor degree in Management (Finance), Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Indonesia (FEB UI). Wahyu started to work at LPEM FEBUI as a research assistant in 2014. His research interests include public policy, public economics, regional and urban economics, industrial economics, and others. Wahyu is adept in several softwares for statistics including Stata, R (for data science), and Phyton (data science). While working in LPEM FEBUI, Wahyu has handled various projects related to the studies of policy analysis, multiplier effect, social and economic impacts, fiscal incentive, fiscal capacity, tax policy, and economic potentials.
Wahyu has worked for more than 25 research projects in LPEM FEBUI. During his work in LPEM-FEBUI, Wahyu has worked with various institutions including domestic institutions and international institutions. Several clients that worked with Wahyu including Asian Development Bank, Pertamina, Riau Andalan Pulp and Paper (RAPP), PT. INALUM, Bank Central Asia, PT Krakatau Nippon Steel Sumikin (KNSS), PT. Krakatau Osaka Steel (KOS) as well as several local governments. While working in LPEM, Wahyu often handles quantitative and qualitative research, cost & benefit and policy analysis, assist preparation of reports and formulate a draft of policy recommendations.
